About the Guidez Travel Blog
The Guidez Travel Blog is written by the Guidez Editorial Team, the people behind Guidez, a marketplace of travel maps made by creators who have actually been to the places on them.
The maps tell you where to go. The blog covers the questions around them: which ticket to buy, how to get from the airport, whether a pass pays off, what a day trip really involves and what it costs this season.
What we publish
- Comparisons of tickets, passes, booking sites, eSIMs and transport options, with the prices side by side.
- Destination guides and itineraries built around the cities Guidez creators have mapped.
- How-to walkthroughs for airports, timed-entry sights and getting around.
- Travel hacks that save money or queueing time, with the math shown.
- Roundups of tours, markets and day trips, ranked by what you get for the price.
How we work
Every price, opening time and rule in an article is checked against an official or primary source, and each article shows the date it was last checked plus the sources we used. When something changes, we update the article and its date. Read the full editorial policy.
How the blog is funded
Some links go to booking partners such as Viator, GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Airalo, Omio and Hertz. If you book through them, Guidez may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See the affiliate disclosure for details.
