Editorial policy

These are the rules every article on the Guidez Travel Blog follows.

Facts come from primary sources

Prices, opening hours, ticket rules, timetables and dates are checked against the official source: the attraction’s own ticket office, the transport operator, the tourism board or the provider’s help pages. The most important sources are linked in the text and listed at the end of each article under “Sources we checked”.

Each article shows a “Prices and links checked” date. Prices change, sometimes weekly, so treat them as a guide and confirm the final price before you pay.

We don’t invent experiences

Articles are written by the editorial team, not by a single traveler. We say “we compared” or “we checked” when we did, and we never claim a visit, a meal or a stay that didn’t happen. Where we rely on travelers’ experience, we point you to the Guidez creator maps where those people share their own picks.

Recommendations are earned

We recommend a tour, ticket or hotel because it fits the reader’s situation: the right price, the right inclusions, a fair cancellation policy. Commission rates don’t decide what we recommend, and we say when the cheaper or do-it-yourself option is the better one.

Updates and corrections

We review articles when prices or rules change and at least before each peak season. Seasonal pieces (markets, holidays, events) name the year they apply to. If you find something wrong, email support@guidez-travel.com and we’ll correct it and update the checked date.

Images

Photos come from Adobe Stock, Wikimedia Commons and free-license libraries such as Unsplash and Pexels, credited under each image with the author and license where the license asks for it. We don’t use AI-generated images to depict real places.
